I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and my approach to therapy is goal-oriented at all levels.
I truly believe everyone deserves to be free from the things holding them back, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey toward greater personal happiness.
I was born and raised in Southern California where I completed my Bachelor's degree in psychology at Cal State San Bernardino. I worked in the juvenile justice system and helped adolescents ages 15-18 years old learn how to better express their emotions and cope with difficult experiences in the past.
A couple of years later I decided to return to school for my Master's degree which led me to the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have lived in Chicago for the last several years and consider this amazing city my home. My background includes working in a variety of community mental health settings and as a supervisor in a substance abuse treatment center. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families with diverse backgrounds that are willing to break the cycle and create positive change.
Areas of specialties include: ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and Substance Abuse.
More recently I have opened a Chicago location in which I meet primarily with individuals and couples. It is part of a holistic health care center and provides a great opportunity for support, healing, and emotional wellness.
