Life affirming counseling...
I believe that everyone deserves a place where they can be validated and accepted exactly as they are in each moment. I therefore work to create a safe space for you to share your inner thoughts and feelings, conquer fears, and release the things that stand in your way of living a full life. In this way, you can free yourself to move in the direction of your dreams.
I believe that my clients hold their own answers and that my responsibility lies in helping each person to find their own way forward. People are deeply resilient and I focus on establishing a partnership with my clients so that they have an active voice in the direction of their treatment.
My greatest hope for my clients is that they find their inner wisdom and truth and begin to make changes in their life from that new empowered place.

About Me
After years of being in an unsatisfying career and with much thought and consideration, I decided I wanted to help people the way I have been helped. I decided to make a career change, went back to school and received my Bachelors Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences followed by my Masters Degree in Counseling. My experience with therapy has been positive in every sense of the word. I am a second generation therapist and have personally attended therapy to help cope with my own issues on and off throughout my life. Because I have been on both sides of the fence I feel that I can empathize with my clients in a unique way, and utilize my education, experience and professional skills to help foster productive therapy.
